One Player Every Premier League Team Should Sign (2/2)

jamesscales1661

Manchester City - Ruben Dias - 23 years old - CB

As we saw from the defending during the absence of Aymeric Laporte, Man City's back line is heavily reliant on the Frenchman, so the signing of a young, hot prospect like Dias would be ideal. His international experience is also ideal, with him playing for Portugal during the 2018- 2019 nations league, where he won man of the match in the final

Manchester United - Thomas Partey - 26 years old - CDM/CM - 34 career goals

Manchester United may have finally managed to bulk their attacking midfielder option with the signing of Bruno Fernandes providing a lethal finish, and Fred finding his form after his transfer last season... However, their defensive midfielder/ central midfielder option is under threat, with a Pogba transfer inevitable. Thomas Partey could be a very worthy signing for Man United as they have the funds and the reputation to spark interest from the box to box midfielder

Newcastle United - Inaki Williams - 25 years old - ST - 86 career goals

This would be a very situational transfer for the magpies, as if their takeover goes through, this would be within their depth. Due to Joelinton's poor start to the season a new striker that can match Saint-Maximin's pace as well as finish in and around the box, would be perfect for the club

Norwich City - Karlan Grant - 22 years old - ST - 50 career goals

Grant has already proven he is a calm and collected finisher, seen with the 16 goals he has scored so far in the championship, so a purchase of a young and clinical finisher would be able to release the pressure held on Pukki. Furthermore, Grant stands at a strong 6'0, allowing him to be a feared striker when a corner comes

Sheffield United - Ollie Watkins - 24 years old - ST/RW/LW - 79 career goals

Sheffield United have been a spectacular team to watch this season, with thrilling victories above teams like Arsenal and Crystal Palace, and a spectacular 3-3 draw against Manchester United. Ollie Watkins would be the perfect transfer for Sheffield as if Brentford aren't promoted to the premier league, he would most likely be wanting a more testing challenge. He would most likely be a player ready for the premier league, seen with his 22 goals and 3 assists in the 19/20 season

Southampton - Moise Kean - 20 - ST - 56 career goals

Southampton have already found one star man at the club in the striking position, with Danny Ings bagging 15 goals this season. However, Shane Long is 33 and will soon be hanging up his boots. Moise Kean could be an excellent signing as he would be wanting a move away from Everton after a disappointing starting season. Furthermore, now would be the perfect time to snatch the player as his value has decreased to £22.5 million so a handsome profit could be make if he lives up to his potential at another club

Tottenham Hotspur - Gianluigi Donnarumma - 21 - GK - 72 clean sheets

Tottenham's goalkeeping options have been inconsistent for some time now, with Lloris' old age bringing him down slowly, and Gazzaniga being an inconsistent option, conceding 26 goals in 18 games this season. Donnarumma would be a spectacular option for Tottenham as he is young and a talented shot stopper, with a staggering 50% penalty save rate. This would allow for him to get more first team action and would help Tottenham get some silverware to decorate their dust ridden trophy cabinet

Watford - Luke Shaw - 24 - LB - 2 career goals

Watford haven't got a spectacular display of defenders, with the majority of them being slow and unable to keep up with the new intake of explosive forwards. Luke Shaw would be able to keep up with the faster forwards in the league, as long as he dedicates himself to the game. Perhaps a change of club would provide a fresh start and allow him to restart his career. Furthermore, he would be enticed with a contract at a new club due to him falling behind Williams in the pecking order.

West Ham - Alban Lafont - 21 - GK - 56 clean sheets

West Ham have a pretty well rounded team, however their main issue stems from their lack of youthful and consistent goalkeepers. Alban Lafont can be a very useful response to their goalkeeping troubles, as he has proved himself to be a very good shot stopper, seen with his 10 clean sheets in 27 games in ligue 1. Additionally, with his young age, there is much room for improvement

Wolves - Brahim Diaz - 20 - CAM/LW/RW - 24 career goals

Although Wolves have a very developed team, capable of causing some damage to their opposition, they lack depth in the LW position. Diaz could be a crucial part of their team, if he were to be given time to flourish as a player. Although his time as a first team winger has been limited, with only 170 minutes of playing time this season, he is still showing signs of being a player to watch in the future due to his skill on the ball.
